Two brothers face charges after Hanson County authorities rescued 14 animals from a southeast South Dakota acreage.

Hanson county authorities conducted an animal rescue Friday afternoon in Emery. 18 animals in all were taken from a residence there just after 9:30 a.m. Eight horses, three dogs and three rabbits were taken from the home at 150 Handson Street in Emery.
