Tornado warnings issued in eastern South Dakota

Tornado warnings have been issued for Davison and eastern Aurora counties until 5:45 p.m. National Weather Service radar indicated a tornado near Mount Vernon moving east at 15 mph at 5:11 p.m., the weather service in Sioux Falls said.

St. Lawrence Man Acquitted In Rape Trial

A St. Lawrence man has been acquitted of eight counts in a rape trial. Jurors in Hand County Circuit Court in Miller deliberated for two days before finding Levi Wade Fry not guilty.
