In seeking a $116 million acquisition of Halifax Regional Heath System, Sentara Healthcare has acknowledged it wants to achieve a first for the company - bringing a rural hospital into Mecklenburg County school trustees voted to return Buckhorn Elementary School to the county government during their monthly meeting of the School Board.
