Fire units from throughout Habersham County battled a commercial fire on the Clarkesville Square into the early morning hours.

Large fire damages historic buildings in Ga. town
Firefighters responded to the initial blaze at the Sweet Breads Cafe, housed in an old warehouse that dates to the 1930s on East Water Street, around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Mulitple buildings destroyed in Clarkesville fire
The fire began just after 11 p.m. at Sweet Bread's Restaurant, an old warehouse built in the 1930's which eventually turned into a restaurant.
