My question is, why do they let them out of jail so soon? they just go right back to doing the same thing! the guy at the sunset motel is already out, his name is mike kinman, gets food stamps, don't work, makes his living selling drugs. How is this fair? |

prison doesn't teach them how to live without drugs. they all should have to go through a long term live in rehab facility for at least 8 months. paragould has been overrun again by drugs! i just watched a woman from MO buy 2 boxes of ephedrine pills at a gas station and the clerk said she had been in there every day since saturday buying 2 boxes a day!!!! i'm sure she just went from there to another store and bought more. we need a task force like MS county has had recently to crack down on the problem

Drug dealers should have life in prison. They are screwing up someone else's life when they sell them drugs, especially if they sell to teenagers. I know the people don't have to buy them, but if they weren't there they wouldn't. I know of several in Paragould that needs to be in jail. Rehab won't help most of the older ones, they don't WANT to change.

the stores report them to the police so for all the cooks that think they are so smart, the cops know who you are. they have to sign for those pills with their address but the problem is, the law states they can have so many grams of the pills a month. husband and wife each gets the amount they are alotted in arkansas and then again in MO probably. that's our problem, we are right here where AR, TN, MO and MS are within short distances. a girl at walgreens told me when they get a shipment of the cold pills in, people come in by the carloads and the pills are all gone within a couple of hours |

keep on wondering "robert". i'm intelligent and i keep up with the laws that are passed to help prevent the drug problem in our community. the first part of my post came from a conversation i had just had earlier tonight, where i was informed by the store employee on the number of pills and quantity that could be obtained. maybe you need something more productive to do than wonder about me. i'm just concerned with my community. should we wonder about you?? |

Maybe we need a concerned citizen patrol force that works together but not advertising existence to assist the police. They can only devote so much time and energy, they need informants to help them. If this town really is overrun with drugs, it seems like they may be outnumbered just a little bit.
