Two people were injured when three vehicles collided on a Green County highway Thursday afternoon, according to the Green County Sheriff's Office.

Overall, the state unemployment rate in April was 7.2 percent, a decrease from the 7.7 percent rate posted in March and higher than 6.8 percent posted in April 2012, the state Department of Workforce Development reported Wednesday.
