Firefighters attack new blaze just east of Silver City

Volunteer firefighters from Silver City and Grant County were working Monday to contain the Whiskey Creek fire, which had burned about 30 to 35 acres about four miles east of Silver City, adjacent to the Whiskey Creek Airport.
