I drive take clinton for a short cut to work to mayfield ky. i realy thought by looking on this forum i would have seen some helpful information again another post shot to hell because some people just can't grown up !!WITH ALL THE RAIN FALL WE HAVE HAD I KNOW THOE BACK ROADS DO FLOOD

I wish I could help but I live above Mayfield. You are right though the back roads because of so many creeks really give travelers trouble.

My heart and prayers goes out to all the farmers that's had crops in the upper bottoms, I know how you must feel with all the labor and time you put into you're ground I got a chance to feel first hand Sunday what it felt like to hurry and try to beat mother nature and get the crops out when i went down there to ride in the combine as my companion hurried togeather the beans before they got underwater I saw many pulling together to help on another that was very touching to know the community came together to help one-another it was a great loss for many farmers thats the gamble they all take when farming the upper-bottom soon dusk had sat in and as I returned home the water had taken it's right back over from the river bottom so fast like ,The water had risen over the roads ,the semi trucks where parting the water on the roads like it wasn't nothing I've never seen any-thing so scary knowing the water was risen that fast and the farmers running the ground like crazy to save all their crops an hard work again I pray God makes away for all to over come such a great loss!
