Chris Christie mostly avoided the New Jersey League of Municipalities' annual conference in Atlantic City for the eight years he was governor and the nearly seven he spent before that as U.S. attorney. But 10 months out of office, the high-profile Republican was here Wednesday for 103rd installment of the league's gathering, which draws thousands of lawmakers, local officials, lobbyists and business leaders from across the state.
