Severe Weather Possible Wednesday Afternoon
WEDNESDAY MORNING
The day will start out much the same as the past two mornings... warm and muggy! It will be mostly cloudy in the morning and there may even be a few spots of drizzle. Temperatures will start in the low 70's and warm into the upper 70's by lunchtime.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING
We will see a few breaks in the clouds and that will allow temperatures to warm into the mid 80's. It will once again be very warm and sticky.
A weak front to the north and a dry line to the west will be the focus of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. I expect severe storms to develop west near Abilene in the afternoon along the dry line. Read more
