A number of area school closed early on Monday, due to the weather. Lewis and Gilmer Counties canceled classes early Monday morning.

High water was reported throughout the area Monday morning. Water rescues have been reported in Wyatt area of Harrison County and in the Rivesville and Paw Paw areas of Marion County.
