Area to try voting on optical scanners in 2009
All voters in Delaware County and thousands in Otsego County will cast ballots the new-fashioned way this year, on optical scanners.
UPDATE: Delaware and Otsego counties are under a flash-flood warning until 10 p.m. At 7:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service, law enforcement reported flash flooding in the Otego area, as 3-5 inches of rain has fallen in the Oneonta, Otego, Franklin and North Franklin areas.
