N.C. 12 in Frisco reopens after pipe replacement
The North Carolina Department of Transportation had to replace the deteriorating pipe under both lanes of the road just south of Timber Trail, according to an NCDOT news release.

Culvert replacement to sever NC 12 in Frisco beginning Friday
A culvert under the lifeline highway needs replacing the state said in announcing that it will close the road in Frisco, just south of Timber Trail, from 7 p.m. Friday until the work is done, which the agency says will be 6 a.m. on Monday at the latest.

Dare County and the state Department of Transportation are trying to figure out how to create access for emergency personnel from 7 p.m. Friday, February 28 until 6 a.m. Monday, March 3. NCDOT is replacing a culvert pipe just south of Timber Trail.
