Cedarville Teacher Accused Of Providing Alcohol To Students

Everyone makes mistakes. I hope the community of Cedarville can put this behind them and judge Fears on all the good that he has done in that town and school. Mark Fears was my teacher for 3 years, the best teacher that school has ever had, despite this mistake or misunderstanding. He has the biggest heart and best personality. He gave up his personal life to help kids who needed a positive person to help them along. Not only is he a great Spanish teacher, he volunteered to record stats and video for our sports teams, ran Prom Committee single-handedly, helped with student counsel and cheerleading, was in charge of Honor Society, Homecoming and many more organizations, clubs, events, etc. Cedarville is losing a great teacher, and friend to many by losing Mr. Fears.

I absolutely agree with Jbond009. My cousin attends Cedarville High, and had Mr. Fears as a teacher. She is extremely upset that he is not her teacher anymore. Cedarville is losing one of the best teachers they have ever had. Not only was he a great school teacher, but a positive role model, and influence on students. I hope the school board will re-think the situation and for the sake of the students, make an effort to get Mr. Fears to come back and join the 'Pirates'
