Murder suspect strikes deal to avoid death penalty

A murder suspect in Copiah County made a deal to avoid the death penalty. 29-year-old Arther Lestrick was found guilty of capital murder in connection with a February shooting at a Gallman Stuckey's. But during the sentencing phase, he pleaded guilty in a plea deal and received life in prison without parole.
