Storms Bring Damage To Frankfort
The storm damage in Clinton County was relatively minor. In the Frankfort area residents described a few frightening moments, but the only structure to sustain any real damage was a brand new barn.
Tornado, severe thunderstorm warnings in effect
A tornado warning was in effect until 6:45 pm for Clinton County. Trained weather spotters saw a rotating wall at around 6:28 pm near Kirklin, eight miles east of Frankfort, moving east at 30 mph.

Lt. Governor Skillman Awards More Than $11 Million in Community Focus Funds
Recently, Lt. Governor Becky Skillman announced that 26 rural communities will receive Community Focus Fund grants totaling $11,781,699. The grants are funded by the federal Community Development Block Grant program, which is administered by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
