Resolution to ban smoking in public is pending

Smokers in Clinton may have fewer places to light up soon. Under the resolution smoking would be banned in areas that host youth sports and events.

Boil advisory lifted for Charlotte in E. Iowa

Officials in the eastern Iowa city of Charlotte have lifted a boil advisory issued last week after the community's water system lost pressure during installation of a new city well.
