10 YEARS AGO: David Pagels, in his No. 409 car, battled Allan Sankey in a Super Stock Dash Saturday night at the Marshfield Super Speedway. Pagels claimed the victory and a sixth in the CWSSA Super Stock point standings. Clark County District Attorney Darwin L. Zwieg will seek a 10th term of office. He has served as district attorney for 18 years. 25 YEARS AGO: Gary Lukes was named outstanding 1983 graduate at Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tenn. He was elected president of the senior class. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lukes of Neillsville and is married to the former Ruth Theurer of Stratford. 50 YEARS AGO: Directors of the Roddis Plywood Corporation at a meeting recently took no action on payment of a dividend, according to a company announcement. Leo Nikolai was elected grand knight of John Eisen Council, Knights of Columbus, at the organization's regular meeting. 75 YEARS AGO: The regular family night get-together of the congregation of the Methodist Episcopal Church will be held Friday at the home of O.C. Vaughn of Marshfield. The affair will take the form of a picnic supper on the lawn, followed by games and stunts.
