Morning power outage affects much of Dickson County

A power outage that affected over 13,000 customers throughout Dickson, Burns, White Bluff and Cheatham County was caused when TVA equipment failed, creating a fault in the transmission line servicing five electrical substations, according to Dickson Electric System General Manager Darrell Gillespie.
