Are we going to have to hear about every single person who dies of h1n1?? Other people die of the flu all of the time....that's not news. Heart attacks....that's not news! It's because of reporting like this that there is so much panic going on. Remember people....you have a better chance of dying by getting in your car than you do from this overhyped strain of the flu!!!

Dood! Get a friggin' clue. The reason we're hearing about every death locally is because we (humans) have no natural immunity to it. Y'see, people who normally die 'cuz of the flu have other problems. This guy was 28 years old and healthy. you do the math and then panic if you want...or just get a flu shot and hope you don't get it anyway.

DOOD!!! YOU get a clue.......you do not have immunity to the regular flu either any more than the common cold, but you do not hear much about it. Thus far, since March and as of numbers yesterday, approximately 4500 people WORLDWIDE have died from the swine flu. 4500. Look at the zeros. Each and every single year between 250,000 to 500,000 DIE worldwide EVERY year, depending on the severity that particular year, and we do not hear much about it. Millions more are hospitalized. This is the idiot media that is causing ridiculous panic and nobody knows if these few seemingly healthy young folks who have died did not have some underlying problem, much as the young athlete collapsing and dying on the basketball court, etc. All they have said is they did not SEEM to. Never a follow-up. As usual, the media has found something to cause panic and it is clear it is easy to do so. It is clear the American people are easily led to believe anything in print just because it is with no supporting facts.

Good luck with that kind of thinking, dood. Maybe you're right about your statistics however, not dissimilar to why there was no problem for the Y2K "threat", the media alrerting people has apparently worked in getting people to cover their mouths, wash their hands, etc and slow the H1N1 down to a crawl. That said, this is not even flu season yet...hmmmm, I wonder what you and all these other nay-sayers will be be-otching about next March or April, after flu season and all the cards are on the table and the betting is over.

A flu that kills 17 year olds, 21 year olds, and 28 year olds seems a little out of the ordinary to me. I am glad the news is covering this. I am interested.

the reason they dont give out infor about people who die with aids hiv is because that is a breach of HIPPA! that type of information can not be released to the public.

I had H1N1 myself, I'm still getting over it. I'm one of the "lucky" ones who has preexisting conditions that made it somewhat more risky, too.

That said, does the *fact* that the regular seasonal flu kills 36,000 people in the US alone every year seem out of the ordinary to you, too?

There you go, calling the pharmaceutical company that made my Tamiflu "God." That's why they are free to run things as bad as they are.

Here's hoping the "war on terror" eventually turns on America's version of the Taliban; religious fanatics like yourself who would force their religion upon everyone.

If God loves us, why did He create H1N1? And, please, give me a real answer, not the standard "He works in strange and mysterious ways" cop out.

So, we are to have no illnesses resulting from our disobedience of GOD? You sound like a two-year-old.

That little 5 year old girl who died last week from H1N1 must have been one bad mamma-jamma sinner, going by what *you just said*. I wonder what she did to piss off your "God" that much that he felt the need to murder her.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Taurus

Are you in listening mode today? Let's hope so because someone wants to bend your ear and they're hoping that you can spare the time and energy for them. Although your first instincts may tell you to give them plenty of advice, try to stop yourself volunteering it unless it's asked for. Even then, you may get the sense that you're really being asked to listen, not talk.
