State to install fencing around mobile home, container of accused Abby kidnapper

On Wednesday afternoon, Justice Pamela Albee ruled that she would not hold an expedited hearing on the state's motion to clarify a condition of her previous order on preserving evidence in the Kibby case, telling the state that "Fencing is otherwise a viable option so long as the defense is given ready access to the property upon its request."

Judge to decide if alleged kidnappera s mobile home and trailer should be relocated

Following an emergency hearing Wednesday, Judge Pamela Albee will decide whether the mobile home and a storage container owned by the Gorham man accused of kidnapping Abigail Hernandez should be moved to protect them, as the state wants, or left on site - where the defense maintains the structures have value as important evidence.

Alleged Hernandez kidnapper well-known to Gorham police

Gorham Police Chief CJ Cyr said Kibby, who has resided at 4 Brookside Drive in the Gateway Trailer Park on Route 2 for the past five years, had been arrested several times between the late 1990s and 2003.

County Sheriff's Office has a new K-9

OSSIPEE The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has a new K-9 in training. High Sheriff Dominic Richardi updated County Commissioners at their July 16 meeting that a 23-month old Belgian Malinois is currently in training for drug detection and tracking.
