Cape May to kick off Independence Day festivities with Kite festival

The City of Cape May will host "Kites over the Cape" Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28, 2009 from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include kites of all types and sizes, as well as kite making and flying, racing, demonstrations and lessons on the beach between Decatur Street and Convention Hall.

County Aging Department Holds Grant Hearing

CREST HAVEN a ' Freeholder Gerald Thornton announced that the Cape May County Department of Aging will hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on its proposed Area Plan Grant on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 1 p.m. The hearing will focus on the plan that covers services the county intends to fund from 2010 through 2012.
