E. Ky. man charged in armed robbery of convenience store
An Eastern Kentucky man has been charged in the armed robbery of a convenience store, Kentucky State Police said.
James Franklin McKenzie, 37, of Catlettsburg was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
On Wednesday, Clark's Pump and Shop on U.S. 60 near the Boyd-Carter county line was robbed, state police said.
McKenzie was later arrested on a warrant.
State police said McKenzie may be responsible for other armed robberies in the area, including West Virginia. Read more
