Police investigating inmate's death

Investigators say they will have to await the results of an autopsy before the cause of death can be determined for an inmate found unresponsive in a holding cell Wednesday morning at the Eastern Regional Jail, though they said there didn't appear to be any obvious signs of foul play.

Police interviewed cell mates. Is it possible that they maybe are scared the same will happen to them if they say anything? Why isn't another agency investigating this such as, the FBI?
