Rough road in Belmont County set to be repaired

Belmont County receives most region oil, gas permits
Belmont County continued receiving the most oil and gas permits in the Utica/Point Pleasant shale play last week of the 45 horizontal drilling permits that were issued, according to the Ohio Department of natural Resources. Belmont County received seven permits.

Mold discovered on pancakes at St. Clairsville Elementary
WTOV9.com BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio - St. Clairsville Schools Superintendent Walt Skaggs confirmed St. Clairsville Elementary sent out an alert to parents through the school's automated phone system after mold was discovered on a couple of pancakes that were being served to children in the cafeteria before school. Skaggs said they immediately pulled all of the product and notified parents, the health department, and the Center for Disease Control.
