It is sad to have to say good bye to a good person who was just doing their job.

The memorial is beautiful. When I (Carolyn) worked at Subway in Pineville I can remember when Sean would come in on Sunday mornings during his shift. I would always make his sandwich and I can still recall him telling me exactly the way he wanted it, but when I think about it I hear his voice. It makes me sad now that he is gone, but he is not forgotten I will always remember his laugh and smile. I (Megan) remember when Sean and King would come up to Bell High for a drug check if they was checking my class for drugs, while I would be standing out in the hallway I would be the only brave student that would walk up to Sean and say hey and pet King. I miss them dearly and I will not forget them. Canto may have taken Kings place as the drug dog, but he will never be the same as King was. I appreciate all the things that Sean and King did and I hope that they know that.

Yeah, tell that to the guy who killed them. And why does Colby Slusher need his face in every picture? Had nothing to do with him.

Did King ever sniff out any drugs, aiding in the arrest of anyone? I'd just like to know if he was actually an asset to the department. What arrests were a result of his services?

Would this highly credible and informative site be the proper place to post important facts such as that to an audience of highly intellectual, non-rumoring spreading, back-stabbing, wouldn't know the truth (or care if it was the truth) if it bit them on the butt white trash. Bottom line: They were a profesional pair of officers (something rare these days) that were killed in the line of duty. Let them Rest In Peace. How are they hurting you at this date in time that you must continue to bash or discredit their past accomplishments.

Bash? Discredit? If a dog has a monument erected in its' honor, it makes me
wonder what it did. I think the monument is a grand gesture for those who lost their lives in the line of duty.

I personally thought matching caskets was a little overboard, now a monument to honor a dog that never helped in making an arrest or never helped in arresting a drug dealer or did anything to earn his food. We have people who have to decide wheather to eat or buy their medicine and we spend thousands on a couple of dogs. Give me a break........

I hate to say it, but everybody acted like the dog getting killed was the worst crime committed, ever. They wouldn't have made such a big deal if the dog hadn't been in the car. What's wrong with these idiots, a person's life seems to me always more important than an animal's.

It was horrible and a reality check of what all our officers potentially face every day they go to work. I see it as a tribute to all men and women who serve to protect. I am proud of the memorial because it reminds us of the danger and bravery these men and women face. I will never forget the mounds of police officers that gathered for the funeral. He touched the lives of many... Children from all across the county were moved because they recall the time he would come to their schools. King was special too them and yes I am sure he helped in more ways than will ever be shared on here. The officer should be remembered for what he sacrificed...He left children behind, including one that he hadn't even held. My goodness people give it a rest.

Who cares about the dog? A human being lost his life here. The life of every German Shepherd in the country is not worth that.

You apparently are a cop hater for whatever reason you may have, Sean was doing what he felt was necessary to protect the public, i am so sick and tired of the Sean and King bashing. What if Sean had not been there and the IDIOTS had made it to 25 e hit you or your loved ones and killed them, It would be a different story. Let the Man, R.I.P. and his children know what a hero thier father was.

And the community is only "starving" because they spend a ton of money on DRUGS! That was a ridiculous statement, stop wasting your precious time here. Starving, right, starving for another hit.
There is no way you can deny it so don't even attempt a response unles it is back up with FACTS.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Sagittarius

It's difficult to keep your mind on what you're doing today because it keeps wandering off in all directions. There won't be much you can do about this except to be aware of it, and preferably to postpone doing anything very complicated or important until you're less distracted and absent-minded. Unfortunately, you won't get very far with it at the moment.
