A Belington man is being held at Tygart Valley Regional Jail on a $50,000 cash or surety bond after being charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

Energy Express serves Barbour's youth
The six-week program, held at Philippi Middle School, kicked off its 13th summer in Barbour County on June 23. An estimated 40 children participate and are provided both breakfast and lunch in addition to morning activities like recreation, reading and art projects.

Juvenile struck by car, flown by HealthNet
A juvenile was flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital Monday after his girlfriend allegedly struck him with a car during a domestic dispute, police said.
