Three inmates broke out of the Atkinson County jail overnight, but were caught soon after.

Three jail inmates who climbed a barbed wire tower at the Atkinson County jail and escaped are back in custody.

Three inmates from the Atkinson County Jail escaped overnight, and were caught around 6:50am on Spikes Road near Pearson.

31-year-old Tracy Jo Gehring from Ohio was found Saturday inside a room at the Miami Motel.
