County commissioners approve 2009-10 budget
Representatives from Burnsville Learning Center Viney Daniels, Elsie White and Carol Smith appeared before the Anson County Board of Commissioners during a public hearing Tuesday night, June 16, to ask for county funding of the center, which provides various services and programs to children and adults.
The Golden LEAF Foundation has announced who will receive its grant money. The funds come to a total of $1,723,168, according to an e-mail dated June 8 from Pat Cabe, the vice president of programs/community assistance and outreach.
