That's when Boise Weekly visited the 2,700-acre Ada County landfill and first learned of something called a "waste stream analysis"--an innovative, yearlong trash count, sampled at four different times of the year.

A woman was taken to a hospital after a rollover crash near Lucky Peak Dam. Dispatchers say the call came in late Wednesday night around 11:40p.m. According to the Ada County Sheriff's Office, a 60-year-old woman was driving on Highway 21 towards Boise.
