Bellingham bank bandit linked to other robberies

A bank robber who struck two Washington Federal branches in Bellingham is suspected of hitting three other banks in Lynnwood and Shoreline in the past six weeks, the FBI announced Tuesday, Aug. 12. The FBI's Seattle bureau is offering a $5,000 reward for a tip leading to the arrest of the Alabama Band Bandit.
