Valero refinery cutting production

Valero Energy Corp. has started work at its refinery in Paulsboro, N.J., that will reduce output by about 5.5 million barrels until the maintenance is finished in mid-January. The project, which started over the weekend, will cut East Coast refinery output 8 percent, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
