1st of all, it was a 1.3 BILLION dollar development which fell in part due to their scheming greediness.

It's almost eerie riding through the proposed development area. It seemed like it had promise, but it looks weird with roads and driveways going nowhere. I am disappointed that it won't be completed to it's full glory, but also understand that it is a real estate development. Are all real estate projects corrupt? It seems that way.

This father and son team have ruined alot peoples lives. People have died and good businesses have been ruined,while these two drive fancy cars, live in expensive homes and live the good life. They should get more then 18 months, they should get 18 YEARS!!!!

White collar criminals usually take the most from the rest of society and, as evidenced here, get the least form of punishment when caught. Congratulations Ross. Only six months for cheating, lying, stealing and corrupting. Plus you have the suicide blood on your hands of a business associate that you corrupted by forcing him to give you kick backs. Also, good luck on your discussions with the IRS and the coming civil suit. Oh by the way, you just pleaded guilty to corruption, stealing and plunder, so how are you going to claim innocence in civil court when you have already admitted in criminal court that you are a criminal? Thank heavens for a slick attorney.

Hey former CNBer. I am guessing you were either involved with Ross, or are a VERY disgruntled former employee. Either way, I agree 100% with what you are saying about the prosecutors.

Could it be that the IRS will be trying these guys criminally, or that they are already ruined financially? Could it be the pending Civil Suits? It must be, otherwise I would see no reason to charge them with 29 counts each, only to let them plead guilty to 1 count later.

Gotta love our legal system

I read where a guy got 6months for yawning in court at the sentencing of a relative (In Ohio I believe). The judge called it contempt. What a bunch of hogwash. So we'll feed and house a guy for 6 months on the taxpayors dime because a judge thinks he disrepected the courtroom proceedings? Yes! Justice prevails!

Such a bad situation.. At least justice needs to prevail

As a former CNB'r, I can't agree with you more! I cannot believe they are getting away with this.... our credibility for even having this bank on our resume is shot. I have actually removed this from mine. What a flippin joke!
