Supervalu In-Line, Shrinks Dividend

Supervalu Inc. reported results for the second quarter of fiscal 2010. Earnings of 35 cents per share were in line with the Zacks Consensus Estimate, but were down 41.7% year-over-year. Net sales for the quarter declined 6.9% year-over-year due to a 6.9% decline in retail food net sales and a 9.5% decline in supply chain services sales.
