Watchdog Group Outraged By Retro Starbucks Logo
Some say the lady on the new Starbucks logo is too risquA© to take on the go. But is it really grounds for outrage?
Starbucks is trying to get back to its roots. And part of that involves bringing back its original logo.
Mark Dice, founder of a watchdog group called The Resistance, is calling for a boycott against StarbucksA forA what he says is a too-racyA illustration, reports CBS station KOVR-TV in Sacramento.
"We want to send a message to Starbucks that they can't put a half-naked, half-mermaid-type figure with her fins, or her quote unquote legs, spread open like a prostitute," Dice says. Read more
