Business in the Burbs: Jarden profit rises, shares fall
“While our results for the first quarter did not meet our expectations, we believe that these results will improve in the second half of the year and demonstrate the value of expanding our operations and markets outside the U.S.”
Jarden Corp., the consumer products company based in Rye, said yesterday its first-quarter profit more than tripled to $4.7 million or 6 cents a share. via The Journal News
