Hewitt acquires Australian firm

Hewitt Associates Inc. said it agreed to acquire CSi: The Remuneration Specialists, an Australian firm that specializes in providing pay-related data and related consulting services.

The Lincolnshire -based human-resources consulting and outsourcing concern didn't disclose terms of the acquisition.

Perry Brandoff, presidentof Hewitt's consulting group, called CSi 'a great addition to the Hewitt portfolio,' and the company also called the Australia a 'natural fit,' since Hewitt has 'been looking to strengthen its compensation analytics capabilities in Asia pacific.' Read more

Hewitt acquires British firm

Hewitt Associates Inc. said it acquired closely held New Bridge Street Consultants, a British consulting company that specializes in compensation issues.

The Lincolnshire provider of human-resources consulting and outsourcing services didn't disclose terms of the acquisition.

The purchase, said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Russ Fradin, should be seen as evidence of 'Hewitt's focused growth agenda.'

The company, he said 'will continue to expand our global footprint and enhance our human-resources capabilities, and we are confident the New Bridge Street leadership can help us accelerate our growth in one of our critical consulting practice areas.' Read more
