TransCanada sells power from US$500M Arizona plant, seals new pipeline deal
- TransCanada Corporation (TSX:TRP) has announced a 20-year sale of the electricity from its planned US$500-million Coolidge generating station southeast of Phoenix, Ariz.
In a separate announcement Monday, TransCanada presented an agreement with Enterprise Products Partners LP and Quicksilver Gas Services on the proposed Pathfinder pipeline.
Enterprise and Quicksilver are to acquire up to a 50 per cent stake in the project and commit to ship 500 million cubic feet per day on a 10-year term through the line from the U.S. Rockies to the Midwest. Read more
