Bemis earnings fall on acquisition expenses

Oct. 27, 2009 9:18 a.m. Bemis Co. said third quarter earnings fell 19%, the result of expenses associated with the planned $1.2 billion acquisition of the food packaging business of Australia's Rio Tinto.
