These kids are guilty of interfering with our plans for world domination, and should be punished for the crimes of reading the news, having a conscience, and trying to change things for the better.

I'm sure this only the start of the protests this summer. I think protesting like this is a waste of time. So long as they do it legally I don't care but if the break the laws the they should be arrested

Not why you would refer to them as "kids", but it's an interesting choice of words as they're behavior is child-like, as is all of self-rightous, selfish, self-centered acts by protestors, there was probably a few adults that participated as well , sadly.

Yes, they work in education as high school teachers and college professors.

The protesters wanted to point out war profiteering, and sadly with the media we have today getting arrested is the only way to call attention to it.

No, I think they are guilty of staging a pointless media event because they are attention-prostitutes (the correct word is filtered), and want to feel important by cloaking their uneventful lives in the larger cause of marxism.

That explains the hunger for attention--no captive audience for political indoctrination during the summer vacation.

What, the idea of chaining themselves to a mosqus is not a good one? I happen to think its a great idea, they might get a chance to see the mindset of the people they support.

They should have just started using a different entrance and left the little weasels out there in the sun for a few days.

But are people discussing war profiteering? No, they're discussing several idiots who chained themselves to an entrance. Obviously if they intended to point out war profiteering, they failed miserably as is often the case when people use tactics that call more attention to THEMSELVES rather than their cause.

It reminds me of people during the Vietnam war who chanted PEACE while throwing bricks at the police. They never understood the contradiction between their cause and their actions.

I spent 20 years patrolling the planet with the U.S Navy so that even idiots would retain the right to freedom of speech. Does anyone suppose these spoiled brats appreciate my sacrifice or the ultimate sacrifice paid by others for their right to be stupid? The good news is that they were only able to collect $10.00 from people sympathetic to their actions.

Since when does opposing a war = stupid? They are entitled to their opinions as much as you or I. I appreciate very much the sacrifice of those who have served in the military, which includes several relatives of mine, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with this war. What is happening to this country? It's scary.

Btw, I think the person who calls him/herself "Not from MN" should be permanently banned from posting on here. Suggesting someone go hang themself is beyond inappropriate.
