A team of interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute-Texas Medical Center performed Texas' first transcatheter aortic valve replacement under conscious sedation using the Edwards Sapien valve.
