Exactly!

If the census bureau wants to make its job difficult, they can omit the question in 2010 and pay census workers to figure it out from the remainder of the questionaire like they did in 2000.....so definitely check "married" even if your state doesn't license it.

The government will have to get busy when it finds out tens of millions of gay married couples are not receiving their fair share of government services.
