Garland remembers 9/11, victim

Garland along with other communities throughout the United States observed the 13th anniversary of 9/11 by flying their flags half-staff, as directed by President Barack Obama. Prayer and a moment of silence was also observed beginning at 8:46 a.m. the time the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center through 9:03 a.m. when the South Tower was struck.
