George Fox professor chosen as Fulbright Scholar to Denmark
George Fox University will send a Fulbright Scholar to Denmark during the 2013-14 academic year to work with international students and collaborate with educators in the Department of Teacher Education at Blaagaard/KDAS, a teachers training college in Copenhagen.

The Old German Baptist Brethren Church New Conference, which will host its annual four-day conference at George Fox University beginning Saturday, is not only a newcomer to the campus's roster of summer visitors, but is also relatively new on the Christian landscape in America. In 1881, the Old German Baptist Brethren Church was formed after splitting from the greater German Baptist Brethren, which consisted of almost 100,000 members and got its start when eight believers were re-baptized in the Eder River in Schwarzen, Germany, in 1708.
GFU top private school in netting Ford Family scholarships
With nine Ford Family Foundation scholarship recipients enrolled for fall term, George Fox University has become one of the top choices among private schools in attracting students who earned the highly competitive scholarship. Among other private institutions, the University of Portland will enroll six, Pacific University will welcome five, Linfield College enrolled four, and Lewis & Clark, Willamette, Concordia and Northwest Christian each will enroll two.
