Residents want to put stop to rash of burglaries

Residents of the Crestview Terrace neighborhood aren't gonna take it anymore. About 40 residents of the Gainesville neighborhood met Thursday evening at Brenau University to form a neighborhood watch group in response to a rash of area burglaries over the past month.

With their last public hearing held Thursday on a new transit expansion plan Hall Area Transit officials learned this week bus riders are pleased with added routes and first time destinations for the 'Red Rabbit', but it will remain a week day, day time only service.
