Belmont to move forward with Rail Trail Greenway to Belmont Abbey College

State lawmakers sent a bill to Gov. Pat McCrory Friday morning that would allow the city of Belmont to move forward with its plans to build a greenway connecting downtown Belmont to Belmont Abbey College.
