The convicted owner-operators of a Zachary health care company were sentenced to federal prison Thursday and ordered to pay $1.2 million in restitution to the state for their roles in a Medicaid fraud scheme, federal and state authorities announced. Extraordinary Care Network Inc. owner Barbara A. Sadler, 63, was sentenced to 44 months, and company Chief Financial Officer Sedric C. Blakes, 42, was ordered to spend three years behind bars.
