San Bernardino County supervisors to again discuss guidelines for medical marijuana ID cards

It's interesting how pot was suppose to help the terminally ill, but today, anybody can get it for any reason, whate-so-ever, california, because we voters were fooled by the pro-drug groups out there who make A TON OF money selling pot out of these pot stores. What a fraud this has become!

Why did the "reporter" for this story put quotations around the word "medicine" multiple times? It's obvious that Joe Nelson has a bias against medical marijuana, but any decent copy editor should have caught this. Oh, wait! It's the SB Sun, so they probably fired their copy editor a few months ago.

The people of California voted to uphold the sale of medical marijuana, so why is San Bernardino one of only two backwards counties left in the state who do not license the clinics?

I guess it's OK to have your city administrators addicted to meth, but a drug proven to ease the pain of terminal cancer patients isn't allowed? What kind of double standard is that? Shame on you, San Bernardino elected officials!

And no, I've never tried a single puff, or taken any illegal substance. I also don't drink. But I do know several terminal cancer patients who are forced into "breaking the law" (Two can play the "quote game", Joe Nelson) only because 5 marijuana joints a day restores their ability to eat without getting sick.

Nope! We can't have pot-smoking terminal cancer patients in San Bernardino County! Providing something to comfort the dying must be somehow prevented, right?

Interesting: Check the California laws. The clinics are only allowed to sell their product at cost. They can't make a profit. And anybody *can't* get it without a valid reason from a licensed doctor! Do you smoke or drink? You're taking a drug! Do you have a valid reason for it? What about taking a cold pill? Druggie! All of those are more harmful than pot. No one ever smoked 3 joints and crashed their car into a light pole. But I've seen that happen after only three drinks. Why do we tolerate one drug, but not another?
