The United Steelworkers says laid-off workers may be back on the job soon at Severstal Wheeling Inc.'s plant in Yorkville, Ohio, but details are still being worked out.

In a letter to Severstal North America, three Ohio lawmakers are asking that their Ohio steel plants return to active production or be sold to someone who will utilize them.

Companywide there are 388 dues-paying members of the United Steelworkers union on the job at Severstal Wheeling's plants up and down the Ohio River.
