wow i really dont find this situation freaking funny at all and people need to grow up and let the family grieve and its probably the person that has no life at the top that was so negative and crule.... quiet amazing... thats my husbands cousin that we are mourning and this is insane when you see and hear about a website that lets people
bash a news story..craig was a good person, had his head on his shoulders, knew what he wanted in life and went for it... and doesnt deserve this disrespect!!!!!!!!!!
Go ahead and grieve. The internet is not the place for that.

How dare he not realize other vehicles are on the road and might make turns. Was he so special that he was not required to slow down? Must have been elitist Mastic trash.
You must really be a sad pathetic person. Having nothing better to do than add to a families pain. Craig treated everyone he met with kindness and respect. He was not a reckless of careless person. Maybe this was just a tragic accident.

Wow people need to stop with their comments because it's not like you knew him. He was a good person and he didn't deserve to die. He was to young and life is too short. Watch something happen to someone to you love in your family. The the sad part is pay back is not pretty. So watch what you say thank you (:

where this accident happened the truck could see clearly for at least a quarter of a mile he had to see my nephew comming. therefore he was reckless thinking he could make that turn with craig comming down the road.accidents happen that is why they are called accidents. not all motercycle riders are reckless. and dont ever say you have never done anything a little reckless in your lifer you would be a lier.even 1 mile a hour over the speed limit is speeding and we are all guilty at times.as for being mastic trash you would be a better person if you only knew him.people out here care for one another. dont try to tell me you have no crime out there i will call you a lier again so stop trying to make yourself out to be a saint because you are far from it.

If the truck driver could see for a quarter mile, then so could anyone approaching the truck. Why wasn’t there enough time to slow down? Speed? Inattentiveness?
I’m sure that tractor-trailer must’ve been really cruising along when he abruptly turned. You know how those truck drivers always take those turns at 50+mph.
I wish I got a nickel each time I heard it wasn’t the motorcyclist’s fault and it was “just an accident”.
If you really must grieve online, you might consider something more private like Yahoo.

just trying to set people straight accidents happen thats why they are calles accidents we are not saying speed was not a factor its was both their falts.my heart goes out to the truck driver also, he has to live with the memory of this accident the rest of his life.if you know that these types of bikes are ridden fast we all need to look out foe them. craig was not one of these pepole to pop wheelies, stand up on the seat,or cut in and out of traffic.he was a good rider this is why we can understand the speed factor.and how this happened.

So please tell us what happened, then. Was Craig speeding, or was he not speeding? Don't judge the posters here until you know the whole story, please. Thank you.

Give them room? Are you serious? We're supposed to get out of the way of every reckless moron who thinks he's cool on a crotch rocket? Typical Long Island trash, blaming everyone else for their idiotic relatives' shananigans.

Apparently he wasn't THAT good a rider, lol.

Ummm, no disrespect intended, but "give them room" because the "bike" is not fast is your advice? It is the rider that controls the speed, perhaps your warning should be to the motorcyclists riding them too fast to slow down.
